Day boats can be hired from this office for any period of time up to a whole day, 9.15am to 4:45pm.

They are called Otter, Heron, Grebe, Teal, Bittern and Catchalot, all apart from Heron are electric, making for quiet and easy cruising. They take a crew of between 4 and 7 people. Dogs are permitted but a large dog may count as one crew member.

Each boat is licensed so you can explore the local broads from Geldeston Lock upriver or down to Oulton Broad depending on the amount of time you have.

The cost is £20 an hour or £100 for the whole day.

Fishing is permitted from boats when the engine is not running, this is to ensure the line does not get caught in the propeller.
